Orenda Engines was a Canadian aircraft engine manufacturer and parts supplier producing Canadian military jet engines from the 1950s through the 1970s for the Canadair CF-86 Sabre, CF-5 Freedom Fighter, CF-104 Starfighter and more. The Canadian Orenda-built General Electric (GE) J85-15 Turbojet engine powered the CF-5 Freedom Fighter.
